Pretty much how I'm feeling, off to work in 15 minutes. typing this little bit of my life quickly.

no shore shack show this month. We're working on new tracks instead, hoping to have a full length written by may.

Fuck gym, it sucks. I hate having to work out. I hate being sore.

I fucking hate work.

Gravemakers & Gunslingers

Haven't updated this thing in forever, but news comes slow from my life I suppose. that or I underestimate the importance of events.

Graduating soon, June 6th, fucking terrified. Prom's busting my bank, mad fines I gotta pay, but what else is new?

Need to save for my new amp, But getting shit hours at work. 2 weeks off though, mad skating and song writing gonna go down. Ideas are bouncing around my head like bullets.

Played a show last weekend in Bethlehem, was pretty good. a nice turnout. the bands developing well, so stoked for the summer tour, hope every night is that wicked.

Kidney Stones

Been thinking quite a bit. how various things could have been different had I approached them with a different attitude. How life could have been different. How running in circles isn't going to solve problems. I've realized some people are there to help you, and some people are there to hurt you and sometimes they don't often do the things they intended to. We all need to learn to let it go sometimes. 'Oh time machine, how I need thee at this moment.

Sunday night is never happening again, so fun/unfun at the same time. Not gonna ever do that again.

Show Saturday, nervous about it. Don't quite know why. Please come.

Valentine's Day

Alone, for the firs time in 2 years. so what? I don't mind actually. I've got 6 strings that tell me I'm only lonely when I want to be. I've got my car and my guitar and more love than I can count from people that actually matter. The right girl's out there somewhere. but for now I'm kickin' back.

Still can't fucking land that 4 set in front of the middle school. I will conquer you one day, I swear it. but for now, I've given my fair share of skin and blood to that concrete. I regret nothing, except my temper sometimes.

Speakeasies played a show at Brenda & Jerry's yesterday, 10 minute notice. It was alright, crowd was lame but made some new friends, all in all a good evening. So stoked for the tour. It's looking more and more possible every day!

I've reserved to save up for a new amp and cab, it'll be a costly $900 but we'll see.

What Happened?

Ska, man, what happened to us? we used to be so close. How'd we drift apart? Was it because you just became stale and repetitive, or maybe it because so many other people tried to be like you. I'd got to shows and I'd see you on stage with so many bad bands. Maybe it was about the 300th time I've heard Beer covered with out of tune horns. Or it could be because of the likes of Leftover Crack & No Cash. We used to be part of the crew.

I remember all the good times we had, listening to you on the bus in middle school. Dancing to you with girls in checkerboard at shows, playing songs that sounded like you...alot in my bands. wanting to learn the trumpet just to hang out with you. we were so close man what happened.

I mean I see you from time to time, we chill with Streetlight manifesto, The Rx Bandits &The Flaming Tsunami's. we have fun there. but its not the same. It's just not the same.

Nouvelle Vague

1. Be on the look out for some new rough Speakeasies demos coming out. Pro Tool's just downloaded, so no more out of time tracks. be on the look out for a possible Acoustic EP on the horizon, most likely recorded over spring break.

2. Check this out! A Bossa Nova band of french hipsters coving classic punk rock and new wave songs. check out too drunk to fuck and Love will tear us apart. classic imagining of The Dead Kennedys and Joy Division.
